Founded in 2022, Lumodos is a niche fragrance brand based in San Francisco, CA, delivering luxury fine fragrances and home scents via a modern and eco-conscious approach.
We draw inspiration from the pivotal moments in our lives to create fragrances which invigorate the mind and awaken the imagination. We are a proud LGBTQ owned small batch producer, making everything in-house.
Our name Lumodos is inspired by the latin words lumos 'to have light' and odorem 'scent'.
The Founders
Lumodos founder, Lester San Luis, has always been an artistic explorer through the mediums of paint, food, and fragrance. Following a successful career as a pastry chef, Lester turned his attention to the vast world of perfumery. Over time, he has trained his nose and self-taught himself how to blend fragrance. Combined with his impeccable attention to detail and creative mindset, he has developed both unique genderless fragrances and contemporary beautiful objects for the home.
Co-founder and husband, Peter (the engineer) maintains the production and operations of the business, driving the precision and consistency required to deliver top quality. Peter has a passion for designing and bringing to life the one-of-a-kind experience that we deliver to each and every one of our Lumodos customers.
